Amy is an old friend of mine from church, back when I lived in Plano. It happened so quickly, I feel like I’m getting old, everyone’s getting married. But I’m happy to see that she’s found happiness.
We went to downtown Dallas, where he proposed. I got to play a lot with reflections, water and glass, it was a lot of fun as a photographer. I posted one photo from each outfit change.
I enjoyed shooting their engagement pictures, but unfortunately I’m already booked on the day of their wedding. I’m high demand, baby! -just kidding. All in all, a good shoot. I’ll probably be shooting her bridals sometime in the next month if she decides to get them. Looking forward to it.

I love Fountain Place in downtown Dallas as a place for pictures. Dan Kiley (the landscape architect) was one creative guy when he designed that space.Anyways, the shoot was really nice – I love the reflection shot, it’s so dreamy and surreal looking.
I love these pictures. This was a fun shoot to go on. Oh, and by the way, not only are your friends getting married… you are getting married! haha 🙂
Hey Jonny, first of all, let me say congrats on the engagement!!!I also have a question regarding the Amy and Nathan photoshoots, what did you use for diffusion?? I love this engagement shoot that you did, it makes them “glow” so to speak, the images have iridescence quality to them, very nicely done
Just a little plastic diffuser on the flash, shade, and luckily a little cloud cover. no post work was done other than raw processing. that first picture looks really soft, but it’s not in real life. I think it has to do with putting them on facebook then blogger.
wow, thanks for the lightning fast response. By the little plastic diffuser, do you mean the Stofen Omni-bounce??
