Katherine and I go way back to UNT when she was on the dance team and I was a photojournalist. I photographed her for the UNT dance team, had a lifestyle portrait shoot with Katherine and even did her and Cody’s maternity photos. Naturally when she contacted me about her wedding, I was excited to be their wedding photographer. We started out at her mom’s house where the ladies had their hair and makeup done. Katherine is now a Dallas Stars Ice girl, so she’s easy going and a natural in front of the camera.
Here’s her dog. This guy was so cute!
Speaking of cute, this little girl made this wedding photographer’s job easy! Sporting some sunglasses here.
The ladies wore button downs, but no worries, there are shorts under there.
The ceremony/reception was held at the Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine, TX. I’ve been to a lot of location as a wedding photographer and I loved the location!

Immediately after the wedding the guest went to the cocktail party while I took Katie and Cody for photography. We were racing daylight.

It’s not very often that this wedding photographer sees live music at a reception, but this is definitely one to remember! The Violin Guy livened up the evening with his brilliant playing, singing and DJ skills.
The Ice girls and company made sure the dance floor was full all night!

Miller is their last name. I had a few volunteers help me spell this out. We actually wrote out in multiple photos. “Katie hearts Cody”. You can see all the photos in the online gallery.
Well I had a blast being the the photographer for Katherine and Cody’s wedding in Grapevine, Texas.
