Amelia and Joe had their engagement shoot in good ol’ downtown Denton, Texas. We started off at the TWU gardens then made our way to the square. I thought it was going to be difficult to light with the high contrast between their two skin tones, but I ended up really liking the contrast. Perhaps it’s our culture’s history, but I for some reason just find a special beauty in interracial couples and get excited to photograph them.
The shoot was great, and you can’t even tell that we almost all passed out from humidity. It was so so bad. They were quite the couple for sticking it out with me.
